Freshman Lindsey Thayer recorded her fourth win from the circle and her second consecutive shutout as the Cardinals topped York 1-0. Thayer struck out seven while limiting the Spartans to two hits and zero walks.
Fisher broke the scoreless tie in the top of the sixth. Jennifer Knaakreached first base on a fielder's choice, scoring the very next batter as Lauren Owens ripped a liner to left field for the lone run of the game.
