Motivational Speaker Joe Erhmann Addresses Fisher Student-Athletes
In conjunction with NCAA Division III week, over 150 St. John Fisher College student-athletes were treated to dynamic motivational speaker Joe Erhmann Thursday night at Fisher's Cleary Auditorium. Division III week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community.
Erhmann, an NFL player for 13 seasons, works with corporate, civic, and community organizations to promote growth, teamwork, effectiveness and individual responsibility as part of the Coach for America organization.
An All-American football and lacrosse player at Syracuse University, Erhmann draws on his plethora of experiences throughout his career in order to convey grounded messages to his audiences. Erhmann was named one of "The Most Influential Sports Educators in America" by the Institute of International Sport.
The mission of Coach for America is "to inform, inspire and initiate individual, communal and societal change that will empower men and women to be their very best – personally, professionally, and relationally."
