Rochester, N.Y.-- The Nazareth Golden Flyers took on the RIT Tigers this afternoon in a non-conference match. The final score of the match was 6-3 in favor of the Tigers, the Flyers now drop to a 4-11 overall record.

Nazareth was able to gain one out of three potential points in doubles action. The tandem of Senior Adrienne Sharza and Sophomore Carlee Hastings pulled out a win at second doubles with a final score of 8-6. The first doubles duo of Sara Kashtan and Liz Crane had a close match, but were defeated by Sara Bjork and Paige Baker 8-5. At third doubles, Lindsey Crawford and Maeve Morgan lost to Riane Reithel and Diane Wange 8-3.

In singles action, Nazareth gained its final two points at second and fifth singles. At second singles, Senior Liz Crane defeated Gianna Heaviland 6-4, 6-2. At fifth singles, Lindsey Crawford split sets with Riane Reithel. Crawford lost the first set 0-6 but was able to come back take the second set 6-4 and captured the match with a third set score of 6-1. Sophomore Carlee Hastings had a tough loss to Paige Baker with a final score of 7-6, 6-0.

The women conclude their 2014-2015 season April 14th against The University of Rochester.
