Stevens Finishes Eighth at NYU/Manhttanville Invitational

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. (April 12, 2015) – Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf sophomore Frank Szucs shot a 78 Sunday at the NYU/Manhttanville Invitational to put him in a tie for fourth individually overall.
Combined with Saturday's 73, Szucs totaled 151 (+9) for the weekend. As a team, the Ducks shot 642 to put them in a tie for eighth.
The annual two day invitational was held at the Forest Hills Field Club in Bloomfield.
Senior Cameron Hill shot a 79 Sunday to give him a total of 161 while freshman Austin Binder totaled 164 after a Sunday round of 79. Senior Justin Niemeier completed his weekend with an 82 to give him a 166 total.
Hamilton College's Bayard Geeslin took the top spot individually with a 145 while William College took the team championship with a 617.
The Ducks will return to the course next weekend to resume the Empire 8 Championship which played the first two rounds in the fall.
