Utica Falls to Oswego at Turning Stone
VERONA, NY – The Utica College men's tennis team lost, 8-1, Wednesday to non-conference rival Oswego State at the Turning Stone Tennis Courts. Junior
Matt Rogers (East Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) led the way winning the only game of the day for the Pioneers.
Rogers won his last two consecutive singles matches as he leads the team in wins this season.
UC dropped all three doubles along with five-of-six in singles competition.
The Pioneers fall to 1-9 overall and return to action Friday when they head to Houghton College for a 4 p.m. match against the Highlanders.
The Lakers wrapped up their 2014-15 campaign with an overall record of 9-7.
