Tournament Field Set for Men's Lacrosse
On the final day of the Empire 8 regular season the seeding for the men's lacrosse postseason tournament has been decided.
The two semifinals matches will take place on Wednesday, April 29 on the campuses of Nazareth College and Ithaca College. The two semifinal winners will meet on Saturday, May 2 in the Empire 8 Championship on the campus of the highest remaining seed. The winner will earn an the NCAA automatic bid and advance to the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
Nazareth had the top seed secured earlier this week and solified a perfect E8 regular season with a 16-6 win over St. John Fisher today, April 25. Ithaca secured the second seed with a 16-12 win over Stevens Institute of Technology today.
Fisher, Stevens and Alfred University all finished with a 5-3 league mark and according to tie-breakers they all went 1-1 amongst each other resulting in the next tiebreaker criteria of goals against the tied teams. Alfred had 22, Stevens 21 and Fisher had 19. Alfred was elminiated from the tiebreaker due to the highest goals against, leaving Stevens and Fisher to be compare head-to-head and Stevens beat Fisher, 12-8, on April 4.

**If Nazareth wins on Wednesday, the final will be at 4 pm on Saturday since the Nazareth women are hosting two semis that day. If Fisher wins on Wednesday, the final will be at Noon on Saturday at the winner of the Ithaca/Stevens game.
