Live Coverage and Quick Facts on E8 Men's Lacrosse Tournament
The 2015 Empire 8 Athletic Conference (E8) Men's Lacrosse Tournament will feature four teams battling for a chance to win the postseason conference championship and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship. The playoffs begin Wednesday, April 29 with two semifinal matches and the Championship will take place on Saturday, May 2 on the campus of the highest remaining seed.

Before the action begins, here are some quick facts you should know about the conference tournament. (

The Empire 8 will employ a four team tournament format for the 12
th straight year. Prior to the 2004 tournament, the E8 champion was determined based on the regular season finish.
All four teams that qualified for the 2014 E8 Tournament return again this season.
The tournament has played out according to seeding twice - in 2012 and 2014.
The #1 seed is 8-3 in the semifinal game of the tournament. #2 seed (7-4), #3 seed (4-7), #4 seed (3-8).
The #1 seed has won the conference championship five times (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).
The #2 seed has won the title four times (2004, 2006, 2007, 2010)
The #3 seed has never won the conference title.
The #4 seed has won the title twice (2005 and 2009).
2015 marks the second time Nazareth will serve as the number one seed - was previously No. 1 in 2013.
The Golden Flyers have made the postseason every year but one (2008).
Nazareth has played in the championship game six times and won on five occassions - most recent title was in 2013.
Nazareth owns a 10-5 E8 tournament record.
Ithaca returns to the tournament as the only team to make an appearance in each of the conference's 11 tournaments.
This will be the second time Ithaca is the No. 2 seed - the first time was in 2012.
Ithaca is 9-8 in E8 tournament games, including a 2-6 mark in the title game.
Stevens has qualified for the tournament six times since joining the E8 in 2007-08 (the Ducks missed the 2010 tournament).
Stevens has advanced to the title game once (2012) and won its first men's lacrosse championship.
Stevens is 2-5 in E8 post season play.
Fisher is making its eighth appearnance in the E8 Tournament and currently has a 2-6 mark in the E8 tournament all-time.
This year marks the fifth time the Cardinals have been seeded No. 4 (2006, 2007, 2008, 2012).
The Cardinals have advanced to the championship game twice - lost in 2009 and 2014.
