Rochester, N.Y-- The Golden Flyers were trumped today by the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers this afternoon in a non-conference match. The men now drop to a 2-9 overall record and remain 2-1 in Empire 8 Conference play.

In doubles action, Nazareth's strongest showing was at second doubles where the team of Brian Rosiek and Louis Rogers were defeated by Kenny Chou and Frank McGinn 8-5. At frist doubles, Tyler Williams and Christian Bryant fell 8-4 to Amos Baptiste and Jared Ingoglia. Senior James Deane and Freshman Jake Warren were defeated by Jason Alexander and Jared Raphael 8-1.

Junior Tyler Williams put up a fight at first singles against Amos Baptiste, but lost with a final score of 7-5, 6-2. At third singles, Brian Rosiek was defeated by Marc Lachane 6-3, 6-1. Freshman Louis Rogers had a solid match at fourth singles, but fell with a final scored of 6-4, 6-4. James Deane lost in two set with a score of 6-2, 6-3 to Ian Dansereau.

The men return to Empire 8 action April 11th when they will travel to face the Stevens Ducks.
