IWCLA All-American Teams

Stevens Institute of Technology junior midfielder Erika Wilcox and Ithaca College junior attack Ally Runyon were two of 48 Division III student-athletes to be named All-America by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWCLA) on Friday.

Wilcox landed on the second team and caps off a season where she was named first team All-Empire 8 conference and E8 Player of the Year while leading the conference in both goals and points. She was ranked 13th nationally with 73 goals and 12th with 96 points.

Against Rowan on April 1, the Baldwinsville, N.Y. native scored her 100th career goal and is two points away from reaching 200 for her career. Her 73 goals this season tie her for fourth on the single season list while the 96 points are third best. She is 55 goals away from becoming only the third student-athlete in Stevens women's lacrosse history to record 200 career goals.

Runyon landed on the third team after leading Ithaca with 55 goals and 68 points this season. She also ranked first on the squad in groundballs (40) and caused turnovers (18), and was second in assists with 13. Her 68 points is eight on the all-time single season list while the 55 goals are fifth.

Runyon scored at least one goal in all 19 games in which she played in, and opened the season with eight goals and two assists for 10 points in a 14-8 win over Rochester on Feb. 28.

The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King Prussia, Pa.
