Four From Fisher Earn All-Region Accolades
The Golf Coaches Association of America named four St. John Fisher College men's golf players to the Division III PING Mid-Atlantic All-Region team.

Devin Solar are a part of the Cardinals team that completed their fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Championship. Fisher captured its fifth-straight Empire 8 title and 10th in the last 11 years to earn the automatic bid. This year, the Cardinals finished 11th, marking their fourth straight year that they have placed among the top 11 teams.
Blyth wraps up his collegiate career as a four-time All-Region honoree and two-time All-American. Fisher's lone senior led the team with a 21st-place finish at the NCAAs at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. He carded a 296 (8-over par), just one stroke over his NCAA performance last year, where he shot 295 for 12th place.
Prior to the NCAAs, Blyth owned the team's second-best average score at 75.33 over 21 rounds in nine tournaments. He earned a first-place finish in the ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship in October, where he shot two even rounds for 142.
Haas takes home his second All-Region honor after leading his team throughout the year. The junior owned the Cardinals' best scoring average at 74.48 through 21 rounds in nine tournaments and also boasted the team's lowest round at 68 with two rounds in the 60s. Haas, the Empire 8 Player of the Year, has earned one win on the year at the Empire 8 Spring Championship.
Deuble and Solar are first-time All-Region selections after making their first appearance in the national tournament.
Prior to the NCAAs, Deuble recorded an average score of 77.10 over 21 rounds in nine tournaments. The sophomore put forth his best finish at the Empire 8 Spring Championship, where he placed second behind teammate Haas. Deuble shot 78 and 74 for 152.
Solar wraps up Fisher's group of honorees. The sophomore average 77.76 prior to the national tournament with his best round at The Hershey Cup in April. He shot a season-low 71 to finish tied for 11th. Solar has improved throughout the year with two top-10 finishes in two of the last three tournaments.
