Kim Fierke (Hartwick AD) and Harold 'Skip' Lord (Houghton AD) have been appointed first and second VP of the Empire 8.

The Empire 8 Athletic Conference is proud to announce it's new First and Second Vice Presidents.
“First off, we would like to thank our outgoing Vice-President,
Pat Thompson (Elmira College) for her years of service," said
Chuck Mitrano, Commissioner of the Empire 8 Athletic Conference. "Pat has been an incredible asset to the conference. Her leadership and vision is greatly appreciated."
Kim Fierke, the Director of Athletics at Hartwick College will begin her term as first Vice President, having served Empire 8 as the second Vice President for the last three academic years.
"There are great schools and great people who work in the Empire 8 and I am honored to serve," said Fierke. "I look forward to advancing the goals of the conference."

Harold 'Skip' Lord was elected as the new second Vice President by his peers.
"It is an honor to have the privilege of serving the wonderful administrators, coaches and student-athletes that comprise the Empire 8," said Lord. "This is an amazing group of high-quality institutions. We are proud to be part of it and look forward to great things ahead."
"Skip brings a great wealth and variety of experience to the Empire 8 as Second Vice-President," said Mitrano. "He has quickly become a highly respected leader within our conference and I look forward to working with him and Kim in this role."
