The Saxons have a combined 2-3 record all-time in the four-team Upstate tournaments. AU won the 1995 tournament, played at Alfred, defeating Oswego in the semifinals and Union in the title game. The last time Alfred hosted an ECAC tournament was 1996, when the Saxons fell to Oswego in the semifinals of the Upstate Championships.
