Ithaca and Utica Land on WBCA Top 25 Honor Roll
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) released its Academic Top 25 Honor Roll and Ithaca College and Utica College were ranked 12th and 19th, respectively, on the list for NCAA Division III. Ithaca's cumulative grade-point average for the 2014-15 academic school year was 3.533, while Utica carried a 3.502.
The Bombers finished this season with an overall record of 23-6 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Championship after earning an at large bid. Ithaca defeated Mt. St. Vincent, 82-72, in the opening round before falling to regional host Bowdoin, 71-66.
The Pioneers UC closed out its season with an 11-14 overall record and was 6-9 in Empire 8 play.
