NABC Honors Three Teams and 14 Individuals
The Alfred University, Nazareth College and Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball squads were recognized with a 2014-15 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)
Team Academic Excellence Award, Wednesday, July 29 by the association.
To earn a NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, teams must have compiled a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2013-14 season.
In addition, 14 E8 men's basketball players were named to the
NABC Honors Court, announced Thursday, July 30.

The 14 E8 players were among a record number of 1,000 honorees from more than 350 Division I, II, III and NAIA colleges and universities that earned the distinction. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must have achieved at least junior standing, accumulated a grade point average of 3.2 or better at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season and matriculated at least one year at their current institutions.
