Naz and Ithaca Ranked in NSCAA Preseason Poll

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its national preseason rankings and Nazareth College and Ithaca College are ranked 16th and 25th, respectively. The Golden Flyers and Bombers were co-champions of the Empire 8 Conference in 2014, while last year's national champion, Lynchburg, earned the top spot in the preseason rankings.
Nazareth ended last season with a 15-4-4 record and advanced through two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Ithaca finished with a 15-4-1 record and made it to the second round of the national tournament.
The Golden Flyers' regular-season schedule features 11 home games, including their season opener, Sept. 1, against RIT at 5 p.m.
The Bombers open the season on Sept. 1 with a home game against Keuka. The match is set to start at 4 p.m. at Carp Wood Field.
