Maru Holds Individual Lead; Fisher First as Team After Two Rounds of E8 Play

Moravian senior Jim Maru fired his second straight two-over par round of 74 and leads the 2015-16 Empire 8 Conference Championships through 36 holes by two strokes over St. John Fisher's Corey Haas (150). 

As a team, Fisher shot a 617 (+41) in two rounds, and a 305 the second day, six strokes under its first round score to stand in first place. Moravian, who led after the opening round, sits in second place with a two-day total of 628. Stevens Institute of Technology is in third place at 638.

Landing in third place, Fisher's Karl Deuble shot a two-round total of 153, and notched the lowest score of the tournament with a 73 in the second round. Chris Salone is in fifth place (158).

Stevens freshman Jack Doherty sits in fourth place overall with a 155, and junior Frank Szucs is in sixth with a 159.
