Brunson and Cerensa Named to D3Football.com Team of the Week
The College at Brockport sophomore safety Julius Brunson and SUNY Cortland senior defensive end Jake Cerensa have been named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.
D3football.com is in its 17th season of selecting a National Team of the Week. The website staff selects players at each position from the top performances from across the country at the Division III level.
Brunson had two interceptions, including a 40-yard return, in the Golden Eagles' conference-opening 35-14 win against Hartwick on Sept. 19. He also added three tackles on the day and got his hand on two pass breakups.
Ceresna led Cortland with 11 tackles, including three sacks for 14 yards among his five total tackles for losses, in a 34-17 win at St. John Fisher.
