Quigg Earns 300th Win
ALFRED, N.Y. – Ithaca College women's soccer head coach,
Mindy Quigg, became just the 15th coach in Division III women's soccer history to win 300 games on Wednesday as the Bombers tied a season-high with six goals and defeated Alfred, 6-0, at Yunevich Stadium. The win moves Ithaca's season record to 4-3 and 1-0 in Empire 8 play while the Saxons slip to 1-6-1 overall and 0-1 in conference competition.
Now in her 22nd season at the helm, Quigg has amassed a career mark of 300-92-46 and ranks 14th all-time in both career wins and 22nd in winning percentage (.741). Under Quigg's guidance, Ithaca has never had a losing season, advancing to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship 18 times including two trips to the national semifinals.
A five-time Empire 8 Coach of the Year recipient, Quigg is the program's all-time winningest coach.
