Nazareth Women's Soccer Takes Part in "Out of Darkness" Walk
ROCHESTER, N.Y – The Nazareth College women's soccer team took part in the "Out of Darkness" walk held at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday, Sept. 26 to help support the suicide prevention campaign.
The squad helped raise 300 dollars for the walk, joining hundreds of communities that took part to prevent suicide, raise awareness, and end the stigma that surrounds depression and other mental disorders.
The team, along with other Nazareth students, walked at Genesee Valley Park to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as part of the national Emotional Well Week.
