Those earning weekly honors for the week of Jan. 4-10 include...

Men’s Basketball Player –  Hartwick
Joey Lufkin, Junior, Guard – Argyle, NY/Argyle
 
Joey Lufkin averaged 29 points in a 2-0 week for the Hawks and eclipsed the 1,000-career point milestone. He shot 52 percent from the floor (17 of 33) in the two games, including 44 percent (7-of-16) from three-point range and 77 percent (17-of-22) from the foul line and averaged four assists and three rebounds. Lufkin had a career-high 31 points and four assists against Houghton Tuesday. Against Stevens, Lufkin scored a game-high 27 points and scored his 1,000-point becoming the 31st player in Hartwick history to reach the milestone.
 
Men’s Basketball Rookie –  Nazareth
Tyler Stenglein, Sophomore, Guard – Rochester, NY/Irondequoit
 
Tyler Stenglein helped Nazareth with three conference road games as he averaged 15.3 points and six assists for the week. He went 6-for-13 for 15 points and dished out five assists in a 90-65 win over Ithaca on Tuesday. Nazareth edged Alfred 72-70 on Friday after Stenglein scored 18 points (7-14) and added three assists. He finished the week with a career-high 10 assists and 13 points in a win over Elmira Saturday.
 
Women’s Basketball Player –  Alfred
McKaylee Croll, Sophomore, Guard – Perry, NY/Perry
 
McKaylee Croll had a perfect week from the free throw line during this past week, going 17-for-17 over the course of three games. The sophomore guard averaged 17.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists to compliment her free throws percentage. She posted a career-best 24 points against Nazareth and tied her career-high in rebounds with seven against Ithaca College.
 
Women’s Basketball Rookie –  St. John Fisher
Erin Hulbert, Freshman, Guard – Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa

Erin Hulbert averaged 13 points in a 2-0 week for the Cardinals. She shot 61 percent from the floor, including 50 percent from three-point range and 50 percent from the foul line and averaged three assists and two rebounds. Hulbert tallied 11 points and four steals in Fisher's win over Elmira on Friday, while the next day at Houghton she put up a career-high 15 points, seven of which came in the third quarter.
