National SAAC Representative Ingersoll Closes Term
SAN ANTONIO, TX - The Empire 8 Athletic Conference (E8) outgoing National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative, Amanda Ingersoll ended her three-year term at the NCAA Convention last week in San Antonio. She is a 2015 graduate and former member of the women's lacrosse team at Stevens. Ingersoll represented the Empire 8 and SUNYAC conferences at the national level.
Over the last three years, Amanda was involved in every aspect of the National SAAC specifically helping to create influential Division III videos including the latest,
It's On Us, which was unveiled at the convention.
In addition, at her last NCAA Convention, Ingersoll was in the spotlight at the Division III Business Session asking the questions with fellow National SAAC members in front of each of the division leaders and Mark Emmert, the President of the NCAA.
The incoming National SAAC representative for SUNYAC and Empire 8, Brockport's
Zach Cook, was also at the convention. His term offically started at the close of the convention.
