ROCHESTER, N.Y – The Nazareth College women's soccer team has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Ethics & Sportsmanship Committee with the Platinum Award.  This award is bestowed upon collegiate teams who competed the entire 2015 season, including playoff action, without accumulating any yellow or red cards.

Nazareth was one of just eight teams throughout the country (all women's programs) to earn this difficult award, including three others for New York State – St. Lawrence University, SUNY Potsdam, and the College of Saint Rose.  Also making the list were Bowdoin College (ME), Columbia International University (SC), Frostburg State University (MD), and Wilson College (PA).

The Golden Flyers finished the season 12-3-3 overall without accumulating any yellow or red cards during that time.

This is the first season that Nazareth has won this award under head coach Gail Mann.
