Women's Cross Country at Highlander Invitational

HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Despite blustery conditions Saturday at the Field of Dreams Cross Country Course on the campus of Houghton College, the Elmira College and Houghton women's cross country teams turned in impressive performances in the Highlander Invitational five-kilometer race.

While the flat Field of Dreams circuit typically results in faster times for most runners, the runners had to battle against heavy wind gusts throughout the 5K, especially near the end of the course.
