Stevens Records Season-Low In Finale
ELKTON, Md. (October 16, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team carded its lowest round of the fall Sunday with a 309 at day two of the Revolutionary College Classic.
The two-round tournament took place at Patriots Glen National Golf Club. Combined with Saturday's 326, Stevens shot 635 for the weekend to place fifth in the eight-team field.
Senior
Frank Szucs finished in fifth after a 72 Sunday, shaving eight strokes off his round from the previous day. The score set a season low for the veteran in the even-par round.
Sophomore
Ezekiel Zhao finished second on the team with a 73 Sunday for a 155, placing him in a tie for eighth and setting a new career low.
Sophomore
Jack Doherty shot 79 Sunday for a 165, while freshman
Joseph Kozlowski finished with a 164 after rounds of 79 and 85.
Chestnut Hill placed first overall with a 615, while Wesley's Dylan Chessher took the individual title with a 140.
The round concludes the fall season was Stevens which will return to the course this spring.
