Dean Lands Spot on D3football.com Team of the Week
Austin Dean anchored The College at Brockport football team's defense this past weekend, earning him a spot on the D3football.com National Team of the Week.
The Golden Eagles defensive unit had a strong outing, holding Ithaca College to minus-11 rushing yards. Dean registered 4.5 sacks on the day, including two during Ithaca's final drive of the first half. The sacks combined for a loss of 31-yards. He also recorded seven tackles, helping Brockport earn a crucial win in the Empire 8 by a score of 42-28.
Brockport will remain home this week for Homecoming Weekend. The Golden Eagles will host the Red Dragons of SUNY Cortland on Oct. 22 with kickoff slated for 3 pm.
