Fisher Field Hockey Becomes Winningest Team In Program History

The St. John Fisher College Field Hockey team extended its win streak to 12 straight as it Fisher took down the Wolves of Keuka College 5-0 in a game under the lights on Wednesday night. The team becomes the most successful in program history securing its 13th win, the most wins in program history.

Fisher was quick to score as Lauren Fazio scored just three minutes into the game on a pass from Emily Markarian. Markarian would score the next two goals, which were both assisted by sophomore Keely Samsonik, the first just seven minutes into the game and the second at 22 minutes.

The Cardinals would score once more before the half as freshman Kelly Bergamo was assisted by Fazio.

Fisher went almost the entire second half before scoring its fifth and final goal which was scored by Fazio again, this time on a spectacular double-assist from Sarah Bisesi and Lexi Foley.

St. John Fisher goalkeeper Ashley Maynard recorded just one save and is credited with the win.
