Regan & Cordani Finish 1-2 at Rowan

Amy Regan and Ithaca junior
Taryn Cordani placed first and second to lead all 386 runners on the 6K course at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on Saturday in Glassboro, N.J.
Johns Hopkins University won the meet with 70 points, followed by MIT, Geneseo and Ithaca.
Regan, the reigning Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Week and USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week, set a personal-best with a new course record time of 20:17.6. Cordani finished with a time of 20:28.7.
Stevens sophomore
Mary Visca also notched a top-20 finish, placing 17th in 21:20.5, while Ithaca junior
Denise Ibarra took 19th overall in 21:26.9
Ithaca sophomore
Sierra Grazia was 54th in 22:10.4, graduate student
Michaela Cioffredi finished the course in 59th with a time of 22:14.5. Sophomore
Emilie Mertz completed Ithaca's top five in 77th overall with a time of 22:29.6.
Stevens seniors
Kaela Earrusso and
Kathleen Kalbian tallied top-100 times, with Earrusso turning in a 97th place time of 22:43.1. Kalbian was three seconds behind her, finishing in 100th.
Nazareth's
Emily Thompson cracked the top 100 with a 22:44.6 over the 6-kilometer course to place 98
th. Freshman
Megan Menzcrossed the line in 23:10.1 to finish in 142
nd place.
Fisher's first runner to cross the finish was freshman
McKayla Crawford who came in 165
th place with a time of 23:28.4 for the 6K race. Just behind Crawford was
Gabriella Dunkelberg, who finished in 24:18.8.
