Stevens and Ithaca Volleyball Appear in Regional Ranking

In the latest NCAA Division III Volleyball Regional Rankings of the 2016 season, the Stevens Institute of Technology and Ithaca College volleyball programs found a spot at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the New York Region. 

The Ducks own a 27-4 overall record with three regular season matches left on their schedule before the Empire 8 Conference Championship in early November.  Stevens will close out its regular season in winning fashion this weekend with three matches in the New York State Regional Challenge.  Stevens opens the weekend with a Friday match against RIT, before two matches Saturday against Rochester and Rowan.

Ithaca hs three regular season matches left on its schedule and is currently 22-4 overall and is currently riding a 10-match win streak. Ithaca travels to Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for the two-day Skidmore Invitational. Ithaca opens on Friday, October 28, when it faces SUNY New Paltz at 5:00 p.m followed by SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Geneseo on Saturday.
