Utica Volleyball Raises $520 for Susan G. Komen Foundation
September 30 and October 1 marked the Pioneers' annual "Dig Pink" match. Utica raised awareness and joined the fight against breast cancer by donning pink uniforms, holding a bake sale, raffles, and accepting donations all weekend long.
Team members brought in bake goods and created baskets for raffle. They also worked the table in between their matches and parents worked during matches.
Utica raised $520 to be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
