Moravian and Susquehanna at Muhlenberg Invitational

The Moravian College and Susquehanna University golf teams competed at the Muhlenberg College Invitational played at the Lehigh Country Club on Monday.

Moravian finished in a three-way tie for second place with a score of 304 with Eastern University and Lebanon Valley College at 304, while Susquehanna tied for 10th out of 19 teams. The host Mules won the tournament with a team score of 290.

Moravian senior Dan Leppert and junior Tyler Smith were both tied for 15th of the 98 golfers in the tournament with rounds of 75 on the par 70 course to lead Moravian while junior Kevin Kunklewas tied for 20th with a 76. Leppert had a bridie and 11 pars in his round while Smith carded two birdies and 12 pars andKunkle had three birdies and seven pars. Sophomore Kody Long finished in a tie with 26th with a round of 78 that oncluded two birdies and nine pars for the Greyhounds while sophomore Joe Rochelle rounded out the lineup for the Blue and Grey with an 80 with a birdie and 10 pars to tie for 38th.

Susquehanna's Anthony Castronova and Matt Schaffner both tied for 26th after shooting 78 (+8). Logan Sears tied for 53rdafter shooting an 82 while Rob Johnson was tied for 61st(+14) and Alex Wagne tied for 76th (+17).
