Stevens Finishes 14th
RESULTS
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 1, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's cross country team finished 14th at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday.
North Central (Ill.) won the meet with 26 points, as Pomona-Pitzer, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins and Emory rounded out the top five. Stevens finished 14th with 443 points.
Senior
Chris Banko was men's top finisher, placing 43rd with a time of 26:04. Banko has been top male placer in each of the last three meets that he has competed in. Sophomore
Doug Wrede was 82nd in 26:43.78, while classmate
Michael Gormley was 99th with a mark of 26:59.38.
Freshman
Jake Catalano and junior
Nathan Schaefer rounded out the scoring for the Ducks. Catalano finished 117th in 27:17.27, with Schaefer coming in 30 ticks later. Seniot
Nicholas Zickgraf made his season-debut, hitting a time of 29:15.31.

Chris Banko raced tough again to lead us and he's showing a ton of improvement. We are still working to put some pieces together for the second half of the season so I expect some better stuff to come in October and November."
