Alfred Comes up Short against Penn. St. Harrisburg
ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University men's soccer team lost against Penn. St. Harrisburg by the score of 2-0 Sunday afternoon in the second round of the ECAC tournament.
The Saxons (9-8-2) could not get anything going despite having the advantage in shots, 13-7, as well as having the advantage in corner kicks, 8-3.
Junior goalie
Chris Gutierrez (Holbrook, NY / Sachem East) made one save as he earned the loss. His counterpart,
Brandon Hoover, made five saves in the win for the Lions.
The Saxons finish the season 9-8-2.
