The St. John Fisher College football team fell 38-14 to Frsotburg State in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Asa S. Bushnell Bowl played at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Stadium Saturday evening. The Cardinals end their season with a final record of 8-3.

After forcing Fisher to punt on its first possession, the Bobcats offense drove 95 yards to score a touchdown, giving the game its first points.

Fisher answered right back though, putting up seven right at the beginning of the second stanza. The Cardinals used a bit of trickery to get the score as Matt Naton threw a screen pass to Mike Collichio behind the line of scrimmage. Collichio faked the forward run and instead backed up to pass. He heaved a ball over the center of the field into the endzone where he connected with Dylan Harrington for the touchdown. The pass attempt was the first ever for the Webster native, thus making it his first touchdown pass as well.
That would be the only scoring for the Cardinals in the half though and the Bobcats would pull away, taking a 28-7 lead into the half. The third quarter only increased Frostburg's momentum as it put up another touchdown on a 55-yard pick six.

Fisher would get its second touchdown of the day in the waning moments of the fourth quarter as Naton hit Tony Fusco for a 22 yard touchdown pass.

Naton finished the day with 335 yards of passing and one touchdown. His favorite targets were Collichio, who had six catches for 118 yards and Harrington, 12 catches for 106 yards.

Aaron Jones led the defensive front on the day with eight tackles including once sack. Anthony Lee and DJ Logory each came away with interceptions as well.
