Ducks and Bombers Ranked No. 1 & 3 Regionally
In the latest NCAA Division III Volleyball Regional Rankings of the 2016 season, the Stevens Institute of Technology and Ithaca College volleyball programs found a spot at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, in the New York Region. Rankings are for all matches through October 30.
The Ducks didn't drop a set in three wins at the NYS Regional challenge last weekend to improve to 30-4 overall. Stevens will host the Empire 8 Conference Tournament Nov. 5-6 and will face St. John Fisher College at 12 p.m. Saturday.
The Bombers closed out its regular season with a 24-5 record. Ithaca returns to action on Saturday, November 5, when it takes on third-seed Nazareth College in the semifinal round of the Empire 8 Tournament to be played in Hoboken, N.J. The match is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.
