Robbins Named No. 7 Division III Preseason Prospect

Robert Robbins of the Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team was named the No. 7 Major League Baseball prospect in Division III by Perfect Game USA.
The Ducks will see another ranked player this spring, as No. 8 Felix Baez and Keystone College come to Hoboken on February 24. Robbins is the first player in program history to enter the Perfect Game Top-10 Prospects list.
Robbins turned in an outstanding 2015 campaign, earning First Team All-Empire 8 honors and Third Team All-Region by D3Baseball.com. The Tallahasse, Fla. native went 5-1 with a 2.05 earned run average and 62 strikeouts.
A 6'4", 200 pound right-handed pitcher, Robbins played his summer ball in 2015 for the Forest City Owls of the Coastal Plain League. He completed the summer campaign with a 6-3 record, 3.80 E.R.A. and 55 strikeouts over 68.2 innings of work
The Ducks will open their season on February 19, taking on No. 6 Kean University.
