E8 Announces 2016 Indoor Track & Field All-Conference Teams
The Empire 8 Athletic Conference (E8) has announced the 2015-16 Indoor Track and Field All-Conference honorees. The E8 recognized 32 men and 35 women who represent the conference's seven institutions who sponsor the sport.
To be a member of the all-conference team a student athlete must have finished in the top two of an event at the Championship Meet held February 13 at Glazer Arena on the campus of Ithaca College. Winners of the event are named to the first team, while the second team is comprised of the runner-up from each event.
The championship meet was a day for the record books as the women set seven new E8 meet records, while the men established six new records.
