Two Naz Records Set at Bomber Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Nazareth track and field squad saw two school records fall on Saturday on the men's side at the Ithaca Invitational, with
Luis Rivera breaking his own record in the weight throw and the quartet of
Nick LaBarbera,
Michael-Jordan Morris,
Matt Battaglia and
Tom Sippie knocking off the 4 x 400 mark.
Rivera demolished his own school record in the weight throw, notching a 19.97 meter (65 feet, 1/2 inches) toss, better than his previous mark of 19.29m (63 feet, 3 1/2") set at nationals last season.
LaBarbera, Morris, Battaglia and Sippie set the school record and took first place in the 4 x 200-meter relay in a time of 3:23.74. The previous school record was set last season at the Bomber Invitational (3:24.95).
