GRINNELL, Iowa –
Ithaca College senior Andrew Brant and St. John Fisher College senior Kyle Koehler earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at the Charles Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center in Grinnell, Iowa.

Brandt placed fourth overall out of 15 entries with a mark of 2.08 meters. He started the championship at 1.94 meters and cleared the bar on his second attempt, and did the same at 1.99 meters. Brandt was successful on his first try at 2.04 meters and surpassed 2.08 on his third run. The next bar was set at 2.11 meters, but he was unable to move on from there.

The Broomall, Pa. native is Ithaca's first men's indoor All-American since 2003 and the first individual honoree since 2002.

He was one of two competitors to clear 2.08 meters, but placed fourth due to attempts taken.

Koehler placed seventh overall in the shot put and became just the second individual in Fisher history to earn All-American status.

Koehler advanced to the finals after his second throw went 16.43 meters.   After fouling on his two attempts in the finals, the senior came through in the clutch, delivering a toss of 16.53 meter to claim seventh place by .01 meters.
