Regan Selected As Outstanding Performer Of NCAA Meet

Amy Regan of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's track and field team was named
Most Outstanding Performer at the Indoor Championships by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Tuesday.
Regan took home a pair of National Championships, placing first in both the 5,000 and 3,000 meter runs. In 5,000, Regan raced out to an early lead and never looked back, finishing with a time of 16:48.62. Her time was nine seconds better than second place. Last season as a junior, she finished second in the same event.
The Green Brook, N.J. native saved one of her better performances for Saturday night in the 3,000. Regan set a meet-record time of 9:30.80 and was seven seconds better than her previous season-best.
