Roberts Grabs 9-0 Win over Highlanders in Men's Tennis
HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's tennis fell to 2-4 on the season after a 9-0 loss to Roberts Wesleyan College in the Kerr-Pegula Field House on Thursday afternoon.
Zach Shilvock in second singles (6-2, 6-3) and Jordan Scott in third singles
(6-4, 6-1) produced the tightest matches for the Highlanders. The tandem teamed up in first doubles and gave Roberts' top duo all they could handle in an 8-6 loss.
Houghton returns to action on Saturday, March 19 when they host D'Youville College in the Kerr-Pegula Field House at 9:30 a.m.
