Harrigan, Plunkett and Sun Claim All-America Honors

GREENSBORO, NC – Hartwick senior Matt Plunkett and Stevens Institute of Technology sophomore Connor Harrigan and senior Ravi Sun were named All-American on final day of competition of the 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, NC.

?Sun finished sixth in the 200-backstroke, in 1:47.79. During the preliminary rounds in the morning session, Sun was seeded eighth with a mark of 1:47.84.

Harrigan collected Honorable Mention honors with a ninth place finish in 15:45.40 in the 1,650 freestyle.
       
Plunkett earned a spot in the 200 backstroke consolation final this morning with a time of 1:48 in the preliminaries.  In the consolation final, Plunkett placed eighth in 1:49.79 to finish 16th overall in the country in what would be his final collegiate race.
