Fisher Wraps Up At Jekyll Island Invitational
The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men's golf team shot a 306 on Sunday and finished with a three-day total of 910 (303-301-306) at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.
The Cardinals, currently ranked 12th nationally, placed 25th overall out of field of 30.
The Jekyll Island field was loaded with some of the top teams in Division III, with 13 teams ranked in the top 25 and another seven program falling into the "receiving votes" category.
Senior
Corey Haas shot a +2 on Sunday and finished at +5 for the tournament, good for 47th place overall.
Junior
Karl Deuble finished at +4 in his final round and ended the tournament at +10.
Ian Campbell (+7 on Sunday) and
Jeff Palmerino (+5 on Sunday) finished with at +17 and +21, respectively, for the three days.
Fisher returns to action next weekend at the McDaniel Invitational.
