Iseneker Tosses No-Hitter

Baseball's Marc Iseneker became the first pitcher at St. John Fisher College to throw a no hitter since 2011, as the Cardinals downed host Elmira College 9-0 on Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader.  The junior struck out 11 batters in the win and allowed just one batter to reach base – a lead-off walk in the second inning that was quickly erased by a double play.

Isenker is the first player to throw a no-hitter at Fisher since All-American Justin D'Amato, who tossed in no-hitter in an 11-0 win over Utica College in 2011.

Isenker upped his record to 2-1 on the year, recording a season-high 11 strikeouts, while recording the program's third no-hitter this millennium.
