Latest Learfield Director's Cup 2015-16 Standings
After the completion of the winter season two Empire 8 schools are in the top 30 of the
Learfield Directors' Cup standings and five E8 schools can be found in the top 200, and seven are ranked.
The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), Learfield Sports and USA Today present the award annually to recognize overall excellence among collegiate athletic programs. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 18 sports -- nine women's and nine men's.
Williams sits in first place with 743.25 points, followed by Washington (Mo.) (707.00), Amherst (585.50), Tufts (550.00) and MIT (543.00) in the top-five. There are currently 444 insitutions in NCAA Division III.
