Nazareth blanks Hartwick in E8 tennis, 9-0

DELHI, N.Y. -- Visiting Nazareth dominated Hartwick Saturday in Empire 8 men's tennis action as the Golden Flyers captured all six singles matches in straight sets during a 9-0 victory over the Hawks.

Nazareth visits Utica Sunday with a 3-7 overall record, including a 2-0 mark in conference matches.

Seniors Tyler Williams, Scott Trobert, Christian Bryant and Jared Sharza each won easily at first, second, fourth and sixth singles respectively. Sophomore Louis Rogers and freshman Lamar Hurt also won in singles.

Nazareth also dominated in doubles as the first team of Hurt and Sharza won 8-3. Bryant and Rogers combined for an 8-0 win at second doubles and freshman Ryley Amond teamed with Trobert for a win at third doubles.
