Racicot Named IWLCA Co-Player of the Week

Morgan Racicot set a career-high for points in a game, scoring nine points on five goals with four assists as 11 different student-athletes recorded at least one point in a 21-3 win over Houghton College Saturday afternoon.
After her record-setting performance, Racicot was honored by the Empire 8 as its Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week. The accolades continued to pour in as Wednesday night, Racicot was named the co-Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association's Division III Player of the Week.
Racicot, an attacker, scored a career-high nine points on five goals with four assists as the Bombers (7-3, 4-0 Empire 8) remained perfect in conference play with the win over Houghton at Higgins Stadium.
Leading 1-0 early on, Racicot scored twice and assisted on another goal as IC raced out to an early 4-0 lead. She scored seven points (four goals, three assists) as Ithaca took a 13-2 lead into halftime en route to Ithaca's third win in four home games.
On the year, Racicot leads the team in points (43) and assists (20), and is second in goals scored (23). She ranks third in the Empire 8 in assists and is sixth in points scored.
