Ithaca Earns Third Straight Sweep
HOUGHTON, N.Y. —The Ithaca College men's tennis team recorded its third straight sweep Saturday afternoon, earning a 9-0 win over Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y.
Ithaca (7-5, 4-1 Empire 8) swept all three doubles matches and the six singles matches against the Highlanders (7-6, 2-2 Empire 8) as the Bombers won every match in straight sets. With three Empire 8 clashes remaining, Ithaca is alone in second place in the conference behind only Stevens (10-7, 4-0).

Lorenzo Viguie-Ramos, recorded their 10th singles wins on the year in the sweep.
At first singles, Hayes earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory, while at fifth singles, Viguie-Ramos posted a 6-2, 6-2 triumph as both improved to 10-2 in dual matches.

Wes Davis earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at second singles to improve to 9-3 in singles dual matches, while classmate
Brandon Buksbaum improved to 7-5 on the year with a 6-3, 6-3 win at fourth singles.

Nate Wolf earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at the third flight, while freshman
Stefan Lazarevic won 6-2, 6-1 at sixth singles as Ithaca improved to 5-2 in road matches.
In doubles action, Davis and Viguie-Ramos won 8-2 at the first flight, Hayes and Lazarevic secured an 8-4 win in the second flight, and Wolf and Buksbaum prevailed 8-2 in the third flight for IC.
The Bombers host Hartwick College for a 4 p.m. Empire 8 match Wednesday.
