The Ithaca College men's lacrosse team has been ranked among the nation's best teams in the country, and after extending its winning streak to a school-record 10 games, for the first time in 2016 the Bombers are ranked in the top 10 in both national polls.

Ithaca moved up to No. 8 in both the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine top 20 poll and the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA)/Nike Coaches top 20 poll after a pair of convincing victories.

The Bombers ran their winning streak to 10 with a pair of Empire 8 victories last week, earning a 16-5 road win over St. John Fisher to go with a 19-2 home win over Houghton College. The victory over Houghton gave IC a perfect 7-0 record at Higgins Stadium in 2016.

Nazareth and Stevens continue to receive national recognition for their play on the field. In the USILA/Nike Division III Coaches Poll, Nazareth fell one spot to No. 19, while Stevens dropped out of the top 20 but is among teams also receiving votes.

In the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 poll, Nazareth moved up one spot to No. 16, while Stevens moved up two spots to No. 17.
