Brown Earns USILA/Lids Weekly Honor
Senior goalie Scott Brown of the Nazareth men's lacrosse team was named the USILA/Lids Team Sports Division III Defensive Player of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, April 17, 2016.
Brown, of Naperville, Ill., helped the Golden Flyers to a pair of conference wins by totaling 20 saves for a .588 save percentage. He had eight saves and yielded five goals in 45 minutes of Wednesday's 20-7 win at Utica. He then added 12 saves and allowed nine goals in Saturday's 20-9 win over Hartwick. For the season, Brown has a 6-2 record with 98 saves and a .541 save percentage.
