Trio Leads Scranton Over Marywood

MOOSIC, Pa. – Juniors Steven Lambrinakos (Stamford, Conn./Trinity) and Tyler Huggins (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area), and freshman Andrew Milisits (Northampton, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) all broke 80 as The University of Scranton men's golf team defeated Marywood, 317-344, on Wednesday afternoon at Glenmauara National Golf Club.

Lambrinakos led the way with a 7-over-par 78 on the par-71 layout, while Huggins and Milisits were a stroke behind with a pair of 79s. Freshman Brett Lubba (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock) added an 81 to round out the Royals' top four scores.

Wednesday marked the second time this spring Lambrinakos has led the way in a victory. He tied for the team low round with a 77 in a win over King's back on April 6 at Glenmaura.

Scranton will be back in action on Tuesday, April 26, when they travel to Factoryville, Pa. to take on Keystone at 1 p.m. at Stone Hedge Country Club.
